La Pièce en Argent de 5 Francs Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte Cette pièce de 5 Francs en argent, appelée « Écu », à l’effigie de Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte, a été créée sous la Deuxième République, suite au décret du 3 janvier 1852.
Produite uniquement en 1852, cette pièce a également été frappée en version « épreuve Or tranche lisse ». Bien que le nombre exact de pièces émises reste inconnu, sa cotation atteint 40 000 € en état Fleur de Coin (FDC).
This silver coin, weighing 25 grams, with a diameter of 37 mm and a denomination of 900‰, was minted in just two workshops: Paris and Strasbourg. More than 16 million examples were produced. Among these, the 1852BB coin, unique to Strasbourg, has a quotation of around €3,500 in Superior State (SUP).
