The Qatari riyal (sometimes spelled rial) is the official currency of Qatar. One currency unit is divided into 100 dirhams, and its abbreviation is QR.

The currency code is QAR and its currency symbol is ر.ق (in Arabic).

• 100 Riyals (2007 and 2020)
• 200 Riyals (2020)
• 500 Riyals (2007 and 2020)

Be careful, as the valid 500 Riyals banknotes (issued in 2007, with a transparent window) are almost identical to the invalid ones (2003). However, the latter are exchanged at our exchange offices.
